Amputees wearing cotton cast socks often complain of their durability. Our filler sock is a 50% cotton and 50% polyester blend with a nylon reinforced toe. The Jim Smith Filler Sock last longer than cotton cast socks and are less expensive than one ply prosthetic socks.
